About PlanB
PlanB Health Technologies ("PlanB", "we") provides an online platform that helps patients discover verified doctors, book appointments and consult by video. Doctors and clinics on PlanB are independent professionals. PlanB does not itself practise medicine.
Not for emergencies
Eligibility and your account
- You must be 18 or older, or use PlanB through a parent or legal guardian.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your OTPs and login details private.
Medical information and consultations
- Content on PlanB is for general information and is not a substitute for professional medical advice.
- Diagnosis and treatment are the responsibility of the treating doctor. Video consultations follow India's Telemedicine Practice Guidelines.
- Share complete and honest information with your doctor. A video consultation may not suit every condition, and your doctor may ask you to visit in person.
Bookings, payments and cancellations
- Appointments are confirmed once you receive a confirmation from PlanB or the clinic.
- Consultation fees, where applicable, are shown before you book. Taxes are included or shown separately.
- Rescheduling, cancellation and refund rules may vary by doctor or clinic and are shown at booking. Eligible refunds are returned to the original payment method.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Provide false information or impersonate another person.
- Misuse the platform, attempt to access it without permission, or interfere with its security.
- Harass doctors or staff, or post unlawful, abusive or misleading content.
- Record or share a consultation without the other person's consent.
Doctors and third parties
Doctors' profiles are based on information they provide and our verification checks. We do not guarantee any treatment outcome. Links to third-party sites or services are provided for convenience, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.
Intellectual property
The PlanB name, logo, design and content belong to PlanB or its licensors. You may not copy, modify or reuse them without written permission.
Privacy
Your use of PlanB is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, PlanB is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for medical advice or treatment given by independent doctors. The platform is provided "as is", and we do not promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or the law. You may stop using PlanB or delete your account at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
